Italian descendent, Brazilian born from the countryside of São Paulo state and living in the USA since 2004, Marcos is what can be called a citizen of the world, having visited for work or pleasure, more than forty countries on five continents. He is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish and has three books published in Brazil and the USA. Graduated in Economics as well as in Business Management from Unicamp (one of the most prestigious universities of Brazil), he became a specialist in Supply Chain, working in this field for more than two decades and teaching the discipline at a large university in the Miami area. However, his deep interest in psychology and human nature led him to study the subject and obtain certification as a Life-coach. Today he helps organizations and people reach higher grounds. Spiritualistic, Marcos studied religions and took advantage of his travels to visit archaeological sites, Buddhist and Hindu temples, mosques, synagogues, and Christian churches, inserting such experiences into his writings. He also loves History and spends most of his free time reading and watching related documentaries, which has led him to focus his novels on historical contexts of his preference. His newest novel "The Most Beautiful Crossing" (soon to be available in English) tells the saga of Matteo, a young man who immigrates from Italy to Brazil at the end of the 19th century and goes through the most diverse adventures and life experiences in a strange land, immersed in a culture and languages he still does not understand. Set in Brazil of a century ago, the drama addresses intriguing, controversial and current themes such as racism, religious syncretism, pandemic, female emancipation, and ideological disputes. Marcos lives in Miami, is married to Vania and is the father of Gianlucca and Gianpietro.
