Andrea Lani

Andrea Lani is the author of Uphill Both Ways: Hiking Toward Happiness on the Colorado Trail (Bison Books, March 2022). Andrea's essays and short stories have been published in the anthologies Multiples Illuminated: Life with Twins and Triplets, the Toddler to Tween Years and This Side of the Divide: Stories of the American West as well as a number of print and online journals, and her essay "The Sparrow's Song," published in The Sunlight Press, was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Andrea has degrees in human ecology and creative writing from College of the Atlantic and the University of Southern Maine's Stonecoast MFA Program. She teaches nature writing and nature journaling workshops and is a Maine Master Naturalist and a senior editor at Literary Mama.
