Barbara Arnold Linkous creates American stories with real history and fictional characters inspired by her ancestors' lives in the Appalachian Mountains. Amidst family struggles and personal trials, the main characters of these books journey from despair to triumph, ultimately discovering hope. She is passionate about sharing her belief in the power of prayer and has crafted a simple devotional to help the reader begin praying. Words Attitudes Actions is inspirational and includes short messages and scriptures written to help the reader start with prayer. Barbara grew up in northeastern Tennessee, where she still resides. She is the middle child of seven raised in a preacher's home. She is a proud wife, mother, and grandmother of seven.
