Alejandra Auza is a full time researcher at Hospital General “Dr. Manuel Gea González”, Mexico City. Her main research interests include the development of morphosyntax and semantics in children with and without Speech-Language Disorders. Some of her interests are: a) studying language in children from vulnerable socioeconomic status; b) developing tools for screening and assessing language in monolingual Spanish speakers; c) the early identification of children on the Autism Spectrum Disorder. Alejandra holds a bachelor’s degree in Hispanic languages and literature from UNAM, a master’s degree in educational psychology from UAQ and a p.h.D degree from a joint program between UAQ and Arizona State University (ASU).
