Cedric Martin Hopkins is a highly accomplished attorney who has dedicated his career to being a powerful voice for the underprivileged. Through his small, yet formidable law practice, he stood shoulder-to-shoulder with and litigated on behalf of criminal defendants, parents facing termination of their parental rights, and foster children trapped in the child welfare system. He has represented hundreds of clients in complex State and federal criminal appeals and post-conviction relief cases. He has taken cases from the superior court, through the federal court system, and onto the steps of the United States Supreme Court. He has argued before all levels of the State Courts of Appeal and in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Hopkins has served as a lecturer at the University of California, Davis School of Law – King Hall.
