Failte, I’m Coinneach the Hebridean Baker – I was born & raised on the Isle of Lewis, the most northerly of the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. I have been Scotland's bestselling cookbook author for 2021 & 2022 and have featured on the Canadian bestseller list.
In 2020, I began sharing videos online, They were mostly traditional recipes along with adventures throughout the islands with my partner Peter and our wee pup Seoras. Over 26 million video views (and counting!) later, I have inspired my followers to bake, forage, learn Gaelic, have a dram or two of whisky and want to visit the Scottish islands.
In Sept 2021, I released my debut cookbook, The Hebridean Baker, Recipes and Wee Stories from the Scottish Islands and it became Scotland’s best selling cookbook of the year, it has now been released in the US, Canada and Australia.In Sept 2022 I released my follow up, My Scottish Island Kitchen.
Inspired by family recipes, traditional bakes and Scottish flavours, showcasing Scotland’s extensive larder and bring flavourful dishes with a story to tell.
