Jane Chipp

Jane Chipp is a collage, assemblage and textile artist based in Somerset, UK and is the co-author of 'Artful Memories: How to make unique art with old photographs'.

Jane celebrates the lives of forgotten people by making artworks using found objects, old papers and photographs. She aims to engender a connection to the past and a recognition of the basic similarities between us and our predecessors, that the human experience is based on the same emotions, fears and pleasures regardless of the century.

Jane is a tutor and Design Team member for The Graphics Fairy.com. Her work has featured in several publications including 'Collage Care' by Laurie Kanyer, Somerset Studio magazine by Stampington publications and Photo Trouvee Magazine and book.

Jane’s work is privately owned in the UK, USA, Hong Kong, Australia, Germany, Korea and Denmark and two pieces are held in the Kanyer Collection.
