Jim Hinckley

Billed as America's storyteller, Jim Hinckley is the author of more than 20 books including The Route 66 Encyclopedia, Murder and Mayhem on The Main Street of America: Tales From Bloody 66, Ghost Towns of the Southwest, Ghost Towns of Route 66, and Here We Are on Route 66. Jim has brought the history of Route 66 and the American southwest to life, and inspired road trips with colorful presentations at an array of venues. He has been a keynote speaker at the first and second European Route 66 festivals, tourism conferences in the United States and Europe, and at an array of festivals. He and his wife Judy are the creators of Jim Hinckley's America. This multifaceted travel network includes social media, YouTube channel, Vimeo, the Coffee With Jim livestream podcast on Podbean, and blog. Working with Kingman Main Street and Talisman Magic Marketing, Hinckley provided narration for an innovative self guided historic district tour in Kingman, Arizona. The tour was unveiled during National Route Trip Day celebration in 2022.
