Andrew Wildman has worked as an artist in Comics, Video Games, TV and Film for more than thirty years. His comic book work includes Transformers, GI Joe, The X-Men, Spider-Man and Venom. TV work includes Storyboarding for animated TV shows; The Clangers, Gecko’s Garage, The Matt Hatter Chronicles and production design for the BBC pre-school show, Ruff-Ruff, Tweet and Dave. More recently 'Shane the Chef' - the animated preschool show created by Andrew and the Bob the builder writer, Simon Jowett - had a 52 episode run on Channel5’s ‘Milkshake’ and continues its presence on YouTube. Andrew has also provided storyboards for a number of live action shows such as Doctor Who, LUTHER, The Alienist and INVASION and the new Netflix movie of LUTHER. Andrew is currently developing his 7 part Science Fiction comic book series, OXYGEN. This series continues some of the themes explored in his first self-published Graphic Novel, HORIZON albeit in a different genre. Written and drawn by Andrew, HORIZON was the culmination of his many years of experience as an illustrator and contains elements of his participation and training in Personal Development and Life Coaching. Described by BBC Arts Editor Will Gompertz as; 'An intriguing book that tells a great story in four wonderful dimensions: words, pictures, speech and space.' And by comics legend, Dave Gibbons as; 'A fascinating and thrilling journey through the psyche, simultaneously thoughtful and kinetic.' He continues to work as a storyboard artist in both Film and Television and deliver guest lectures at Schools and Universities.
