Imane Hourri

Imane is a certified ESL teacher with a passion for helping non-native speakers confidently learn English. Her journey as an educator deepened when she began teaching Arabic to children whose first language is English. This experience revealed a significant need for beginner-friendly resources that introduce both Arabic and English in a way that’s simple, engaging, and accessible to young learners and their families. Inspired to bridge this gap, Imane wrote and illustrated her first bilingual picture book, Under the Sea - تحت البحر. Designed for children aged 3 to 8, the book uses repetitive, easy-to-follow sentences and introduces sea animal vocabulary in both languages. Its goal is to make learning enjoyable and memorable for kids, while also supporting parents in raising bilingual children. Through her bilingual books, Imane envisions creating a fun and engaging foundation for children to explore two languages, empowering them to embrace the joys of bilingualism from an early age.
