Welcome to the exciting world of African languages! Languages are not just a means of communication; they are a fundamental part of human culture and identity. In Africa, there are over 2,000 spoken languages, each with its own unique history, culture, and worldview. Unfortunately, many of these languages are under-resourced and under-researched, with little documentation or preservation of their rich linguistic and cultural heritage. As a language enthusiast, I, Shck Cǎmna '(Tchamna), have always been fascinated by the diversity of African languages and their role in shaping African culture and identity. This fascination has led me on a journey of discovery, exploration, and advocacy for under-resourced African languages. My 60+ books on African languages is the culmination of that journey. It is an invitation to explore the rich linguistic and cultural diversity of Africa. I believe that every human being should have the opportunity to discover the beauty and richness hidden in his own ancestral culture at a young age before being exposed to any other culture. This will help anyone have a base culture against which they will be able to compare anything else. The other benefit of our books, especially those of tonal languages will make you smarter. In fact, you will be exposed to one of the most interesting, yet rarely explored features of African languages: the tones. Mastering the tones will make you be more attentive to details in real life. When you realize that just changing the pitch of your voice completely changes the meaning of the word, you will be more attentive to the word that surrounds them. Last but not the least, our books are also a call to action. It is a call for parents, teachers, and communities to support the learning and preservation of African languages, and to promote multilingualism and cultural diversity. By supporting the learning of African languages, we can help to preserve and promote the linguistic and cultural heritage of Africa, and create a more inclusive and tolerant society. I hope that you will be inspired by these productions and become ambassadors of linguistic and cultural diversity. Thank you for joining me on this journey. Shck Cǎmna '(Tchamna) is author of 60+ books and co-author of over 20+ applications for learning African languages, including Twi in Ghana, Wolof Fulfulde, Chichewa in Malawi, Nko, Amharic, Swahili, Lingala, Kikongo, Duala, Basaa, Ewondo, Medumba, etc., not to mention a wealth of works in his mother tongue, Fe'efe'e, a Bamileke language also called nùfī, spoken in West Cameroon. To top it all off, he is the founder of a nonprofit called Resulam, resurrection of ancestral mother tongues.
