Rick L. Ferrara

Rick Ferrara is a father, husband, attorney, and author based in Cleveland, Ohio, having reached a Level 200 USA Rugby coaching certification in the United States, as well as a Level 1 Referee certification in Ohio. Rick started playing rugby in 1998 at Marquette University, winning a Wisconsin State Title with the team in 2000, and continued on to play in Division II men's league for the Cleveland Rovers, located in Cleveland, Ohio. In coaching, Rick was the founder and head coach of the Homestead Highlanders, a Wisconsin Girls Rugby Union club, in 2001. Rick brought the team to the National Invitation Tournament in Seattle Washington in 2003 and to a ranking of 3rd in nation in just over two years. He subsequently coached the backline of both Division I and II sides at St. Edward High School, contributing to three Midwest Regional Titles and two Ohio Titles during his tenure, as well as a ranking of 7th in the United States.
