Modeller, mathematician, systems theorist, environmentalist, economist, complexity theorist, lecturer. These are all words used to describe me. I have been involved in scientific research for the past 24 years, and have been proud to be associated with fine institutions such as the CSIR (Council for Scientific and Industrial Research), Imperial College London and Stellenbosch University. So far I have published one book, "Mathematical Models and Environmental Change: Case Studies in Long Term Management" through Routledge Focus on Environment and Sustainability (RFES), part of Taylor and Francis group. Other passions of mine include travel, and spending time in nature.
