I was a SQL Server DBA with a passion for Powershell, Azure, Automation, and SQL (PaaS geddit?) (and a sense of humour (and a habit for writing inside braces)). Now I just helps other people with those (not the braces bit). I am a dual Microsoft Most Valuable Professiona (MVP) in Data Platform and a Microsoft Cloud and Datacenter I work with clients to enable automation, SQL Server best practices and Continuous Delivery using PowerShell, Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy mainly on the Microsoft Azure platform or on-premises. I am a co-leader of Data South West UK User Grou, a PSConf EU organiser and have spoken at and volunteered at many Data and PowerShell events all over the world. I am a proud supporter of the Data and PowerShell communities. I relish sharing and learning and can be found doing both via Twitter and my blog. I spend most of my time looking at a screen and love to solve problems. I know that looking at a screen so much is bad for me because my wife tells me. Thus, I am often out riding my bike as ,my eyes are not good enough to play cricket any more!
