Joowon Park

Joowon Park is a professor at Skidmore College, New York, where he researches and teaches on the everyday experiences of violence, citizenship and belonging, refugee resettlement, transnationalism, and the politics of humanitarianism. His research has been supported by the US National Science Foundation, the Wenner-Gren Foundation, and many other grants. Joowon has a PhD from American University in Washington, DC. His hometown is Machakos, Kenya.
