Janelle Torgeson has a BA in International Relations, which reflects her deep love for religious and cultural studies. As a mom of two daughters, and being an avid reader herself, she was looking for books for her children that reflected their religious beliefs, as Torah Observant Christians. Not finding a lot of options at the time, she decided to write one herself to hopefully bless the children of her faith community. Her goal is to encourage children to be proud of their faith, to be excited to celebrate its holidays and to be confident in sharing why the holidays of the Torah are for Christians as well as Jews today.
