I grew up as a Swedish/Swiss dual-national, educated primarily in Sweden. After an early career in Swiss banking, I spent 17 years as the Finance Director and Executive Vice-Chairman of Dixons, a FTSE 100 company which grew from a small photographic retailer into the largest consumer electronics retailer in the UK. Thereafter, I founded Matterhorn Asset Management, AG (MAM), the world’s largest enterprise for direct ownership of precious metals outside of the commercial banking system. When not managing MAM, I mostly enjoy the wealth that can’t be measured, namely time with my family, close friends, music, books and nature.
