Dr. Ali Rezaie

Dr.Rezaie is the medical director of the GI motility program at Cedars-Sinai, Los Angeles, and the program director of the GI motility fellowship training. He is an associate professor at Cedars-Sinai and an associate clinical professor at UCLA. Rezaie also serves as the Director of Bioinformatics and Biotechnology at Medically Associated Science and Technology (MAST) program at Cedars-Sinai. Apart from his training in gastroenterology, he has postdoctoral training in gastrointestinal motility disorders and also inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) along with an master’s degree in epidemiology. Dr. Rezaie has published more than 100 peer-reviewed papers that have been cited over 7,000 times. Rezaie has been awarded multiple grants, including Canadian Institutes of Health Research, the American College of Gastroenterology and Kenneth-Rainin foundation. He also serves as the associate editor of Digestive Diseases and Sciences. His research focuses on microbiome, IBS, SIBO, medical device development and internal UV therapy.
