Wellington Hammerfield

Wellington Hammerfield was born on March 19, 1972, in the picturesque neighborhood of Hampstead, often described as "a village within the city of London." From an early age, he developed a keen observational and critical spirit regarding society, customs, and especially the behaviors of those around him.

He attended North Carroll Christian Academy, where he forged strong friendships that continue to this day, with annual reunions at the "reunion dinner." After graduating from Cardiff University with a degree in journalism, he began his career in print media in London.

Over time, Wellington discovered that his sharp observational skills were unconsciously fostering his creative side. This ability led him to work in institutional communication and television advertising, where he excelled in asking incisive and revealing questions.

A pivotal moment in his career occurred in 1997 during a presentation of a new premium wine line by the Pernod Ricard company. When he asked questions to the company's president, he was surprised by the depth and relevance of Wellington's inquiries. This moment was a catalyst for Wellington, who decided to exploit his talent for asking insightful questions and to explore human behavior more deeply.

Thanks to his profession and years of experience, Wellington became a specialist in journaling or introspective writing. His ability to observe and question the everyday is reflected in his books, which tackle various topics of daily life with depth and humanity.
