Fatima Barkatulla

Fatima Barkatulla is a British Islamic scholar ('Alimah), author and and award-winning international lecturer. She has had a rich Islamic education from an early age thanks to her parents, studying Arabic and Islamic studies in Egypt. She went on to complete a Masters in Islamic Law with Distinction at the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London and English Law at postgraduate level at Kings College London. Fatima's hobbies include astronomy and calligraphy and she lives in a leafy part of London with her husband and four children.
