David W. Dunlap

David W. Dunlap was born in San Francisco in 1952, and grew up in Chicago. Following his graduation from Yale College in 1975, he joined The New York Times, where he spent the next 42 years as a reporter for the metro desk. He is currently writing and producing the Provincetown Encyclopedia website (ptownencyclopedia.com), a building-by-building social and cultural history. He is the author, co-author, or photographer of five books. He lives in Manhattan.
