Mark Watson

Mark Watson has been a primary teacher for over 10 years, teaching in Scotland and Malaysia. A 2-year stint as a teacher in Borneo during COVID opened up the world of writing and illustrating for him. Often being a teacher of younger children, he found himself regularly creating stories for them and decided to finally write some down and illustrate them to be enjoyed by others. Determined to challenge himself further, he began writing children and young adult novels, releasing his third novel in January 2025.

He now lives in a quaint little village in south Aberdeenshire with his wonderful wife, beautiful daughter and two cats. He enjoys writing, following football and seeing what other silly ideas he can come up with to entertain himself.
