Rada Jones

Rada was born in Transylvania, (yes, it's a real place,) ten miles away from Dracula's Castle. Growing up between communists and vampires, she quickly learned that humans are fickle, but one can always rely on dogs and books. A few decades ago, she immigrated to the US to join her husband, but after medical school and working in the ER for years, she still speaks like Dracula's cousin. Rada lives in the Adirondacks mountains of Upstate NY in a camp smaller than a food truck. Rada, her husband Steve and Guinness, their German Shepherd live under the competent supervision of a black deaf cat named Paxil. They spend their days reading (Steve,) writing (Rada,) chasing chipmunks (Guinness) and looking to break into the dog food (Paxil.) in her K-9 HEROES series, Rada writes about brave working dogs who try to keep their humans on the straight and narrow.
