Winner of the 2022 national contest "La piel escrita" micro-story category in Colombia. Born in Cali, Colombia (1968). Panamanian citizen. Civil engineer. MBA at Kent State University, USA. Specialized at the Javeriana University, Colombia (Construction Management). He has directed more than 20 major engineering projects. Current Vice President of Research, Development and Innovation (R+D+I) focused on marketing and AI, artificial intelligence. Specializations in US universities: Yale University (A Story for Our Times), University of Michigan (Writing and Editing), Wesleyan University (Creative Writing) and University of California (Academic English Writing Essay). Certificate in Literary Creation 2020 from the Technological University of Panama and the Writers Training Program (PROFE), novel genre 2020, essay 2021 and screenplay for cinema 2022 and 2023 from the Ministry of Culture of Panama. Graduated from the Theological Institute by Extension (INSTE) 2022. He attended the Cinematographic Writing workshops and also Cinematographic Personal Poetics with the Mexican director, Carlos Enderle. He took courses at the University of Virginia (The Worlds of Historical Fiction), Duke University (Essay English Composition I), and Michigan State University (Script Writing: Write a Pilot Episode for a TV or Web Series). He took the workshop on Advice and presentation of film projects dictated by the filmmaker and producer Martha Orozco through the Ministry of Culture of Panama. Participate in various workshops with Altazor, Colombia. He is currently taking the Introduction to Film Production workshop with Carlos Enderle. Film director and screenwriter of fiction and documentary feature films. Founder of the 2020 Literary Generation group. Co-author of two books: “The world stopped, the stories continued” (Panama 2021) and “Among Friends Pure Story” (Panama 2023). He is part of the anthologies: "Refuges and sunsets" (Ediciones PuertaBlanca, Argentina, 2021) and "Consummation of Eros" (Forum/workshop Sagittarius Editions, Panama, 2021) by Enrique Jaramillo Levi. He has published opinion articles for the newspaper La Estrella de Panamá.
