Thibaut Delloue served for five years as a surface warfare officer in the US Navy. He was the communications officer aboard the destroyer USS Carney and the navigator of the littoral combat ship USS Coronado. He is the author of the book The Wardroom: An Officer’s Tour at Sea and the Crisis of the US Navy and has written about the military for publications like Task & Purpose, the US Naval Institute, War on the Rocks, and The War Horse.
