I've been professionally translating and interpreting from French into English since 2004, and I specialize in food, fragrance, floristry, and sustainable living for the American market. I lived and worked in Paris for several years, where I biked along the Seine on Sunday mornings and sang in an a cappella jazz choir, but I've traded cobblestones for sea lions and now call Monterey home.
As the farmer-florist and homesteader behind Thicket (an urban micro farm offering sustainable, local, seasonal flowers), I keep up with the latest regenerative, permaculture-based methods. Lindy hop is my jam, or Argentine tango in a pinch. I like to grow edible mushrooms, occasionally needle felt a cute animal, and dabble in writing spoof lyrics and elementary ukulele playing.
