Joanne Moore (Jo) just LOVES children’s books! Reading can take children to new places and stimulate their imagination. It can help them to learn and to understand new ideas and how to recognise things about themselves and other people. Through reading, children can learn how to deal with and manage their emotions and develop their vocabulary and communication skills. Most importantly, a good book can help a child to just switch off from the world, to relax and to have their little minds scooped up and whisked away. Books really are so powerful and so important. Jo hopes that she is able to spread the magic of books and the power of reading to young children as well as to parents and teachers who have this same desire. Her stories aim to engage children, to spread positive messages, to gently prepare children for the world and life ahead of them, and to help them to develop a real love for reading. There is nothing more disappointing than reading a rubbish book, whether you’re a child or a parent. Having read soooo many children’s books over the years, Jo is hopeful that her books will be enjoyed by all. When Jo isn’t writing and doing 'book stuff,' she can be found spending time with her wonderful family, sat at her office desk at work (with a cup of coffee), or cleaning her house. Basically, just doing average parent-stuff. She loves the beauty of a rainbow, the magic of a myth, the exhilaration of a firework display, and, of course, the radiance of sunshine makes everything better! If a regular mum who is a former teacher with a knowledge of how to inspire children is what you are looking for in an author, then Jo is your woman! https://www.facebook.com/thebitdifferentcollection https://www.Instagram.com/the.bit.different.collection
