Dave Taylor is a wildlife photographer and the author of more than 40 books and several dozen magazine articles on wildlife and ecology. As a highly regarded wildlife photographer, Dave focuses his efforts on producing educational videos and material about wildlife for both the public and to support school curriculum. These may be found on his YouTube Channel using search words: Dave Taylor Wildlife. His most recent book is Black Bears, A Natural History 2nd ed. He also has series of books for Amazon's Kindle Reader on wildlife and ecosystems. Dave has traveled throughout the world capturing nature with his camera. He frequently visits Tanzania where he leads wildlife safaris. After teaching science and geography for more than 30 years, and teaching nature photography at Humber College for more than 25 years, Dave recently retired as the Educational Program Director for The Riverwood Conservancy (TRC), a non-profit group that operates a nature park in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. In the past, he has also met with a variety of organizations on outdoor education programming and wildlife issues to assist them in their programming. Dave is also an avid public speaker who frequently speaks to local naturalist clubs and other organizations that have a keen interest for nature. A number of his Facebook Live talks are on The Riverwood Conservancy's YouTube page. DaveTaylorWildlife.com consists of portfolios of his photos, illustrations, videos, books and educational materials. Dave resides in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
