Dr. Guoli Chen is a professor of strategy at INSEAD. He received his PhD in strategic management from the Pennsylvania State University. Guoli’s research interest focuses on strategic leadership and corporate governance in the context of mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, innovation, globalization, corporate renewal and sustainability. He is an expert in China strategy and has published several pedagogical cases on Chinese companies, such as Huawei’s Smartphone Strategy, Uber vs. Didi, Ant Financial and Tencent, SheIn vs. Zara, TikTok and Kuaishou.
