Louise Sawle

I was born and raised in Sydney Australia. At the age of 20, I loaded my pack and headed off to England. Throughout this time, I travelled and backpacked to many European and African destinations. I went on further to explore Asia and parts of the United States. On returning home I was accepted into the role of an International Flight Attendant with Qantas, and for many years, enjoyed the opportunity to further my travel destinations. More recently my love of travel has branched out to explore Spain and Portugal; in particular, The Camino de Santiago. I have walked the Frances route from St Jean Pied De Port to Santiago twice, and also from Leon to Finisterre. I’ve also completed the Portuguese Camino from Porto and the first part of the Northern route. This last route, I hope to complete in the following years. I am married and have two grown children who also share my love of travel and I now live in the Southwest region of Western Australia. 'On My Way' is my first written publication.
