I'm a jack-of-all-trades who writes steamy romance books mostly. I've run marathons (ran the original course from Marathon to Athens in Greece), bred and showed Champion Standard Poodles, joined a gourmet club, crewed for a hot air balloon, dabbled in watercolors, and read everything I could get my hands on. My love for books led me to become a writer.
I received my MS degree from the University of Texas at Dallas and taught school on every level, including college. I quit a job I loved--Practice Teaching Specialist at UTD--to devote more time to my passion for writing. During my childhood, stories of old plantation houses and their owners fascinated me and later inspired me to write Time's Daughter, a time-travel romantic suspense novel. I've also published a thriller, The Thirteenth Apostle, Beyond Recognition: Shadows of Mental Illnness and several romance novels: Conveniently Married, Winds of Fate, Loving Miss Radio, Cajun Hideaway, Balloon Safari, Miss Oops, Take Only My Love and Sidestepping the Truth. I co-authored a book for children, A Horse for the Heart, with Dana Crigger DVM. When I'm not dreaming up stories, I'm playing with my pets, Pups and Meowba, or doing something fun with my two daughters and son.
My time travel book, Time's Daughter, is a recipient of the Literary Titan's Gold Book Award. The awards are "awarded to books that have astounded and amazed us with unique writing styles, vivid worlds, complex characters, and original ideas."
