Jane Morrone

Jane is the mother of three adult children (a son and two daughters) and has two grandsons. Teaching religious instruction for the third and sixth grades at Holy Family began planting the seeds in her for teaching children about the love of Jesus and Mary through praying the rosary. A parish council member for Holy Family led her to become a representative for the Deanery of Staten Island and then a representative for Staten Island on the Pastoral Council for the Archdiocese of New York. Being part of the Legion of Mary and Rosary Altar society gave her a more intense love for the rosary. She also started her own prayer group, Prayers for Peace, which lasted for 10 years and ended because of COVID. A conversation with her co-author, Heather Lean, ignited the spark to create Mysteries of The Holy Rosary, The Life of Jesus and Mary. Jane was taught the rosary with the mysteries by her mother and always saw her parents pray the rosary when she was growing up. A Million Seeds is not only a business, domain name and website, it is the mission that she has with her friend and partner Heather Lean. Their goal is to reach millions of people with the message of Jesus and Mary’s love for all.
