Jake Rudin

Jake is a strategic thinker and designer with a passion for building things from the ground up. He co-founded Out of Architecture, a career consulting firm helping designers apply their incredible talents in untraditional ways. At his work with Adidas, he leads teams in Computational Design, Digital Technologies, and Pattern Engineering.

Trained as an architect, Jake worked around the world as a designer for top architecture and design firms, and taught extensively in the architecture and design fields. After discovering that these skills could benefit a host of other professions in profound ways, he dedicated himself to supporting others in seeing the value in their training.

Outside professional endeavors, when he is home in Portland, Oregon he is a keen gardener, a tree climber and a constantly curious builder.
