Dr. Nadeau is a frequent lecturer both in the United States and abroad and provides professional training seminars on topics related to ADHD. She is the founder and Clinical Director of The Chesapeake Center - ADHD, Learning and Behavioral Health, the largest private ADHD specialty clinic in the United States. Later, she brought attention to girls and women with ADHD, who were historically under-diagnosed or mis-diagnosed. Recently, she has turned her focus to older adults with ADHD, yet another very large, but overlooked group with her newest book, Still Distracted After All These Years, Help and Support for Older Adults with ADHD.
Dr. Nadeau is the author or co-author of more than a dozen books related to ADHD that address ADHD issues across the lifespan, from her best-selling book for children, “Learning to Slow Down and Pay Attention”, to her latest book on older adults with ADHD, “Still Distracted After All These Years”. While she no longer maintains an active clinical practice, she is available for consultations with individuals and families that are seeking her clinical impressions, recommendations and referrals in relation to ADHD.
