Serena is a Plant-Based Registered Dietitian and Transition Coach Specialist who is enthusiastic about transforming the health of busy adults and families through the power of plant-based meals. She has helped people achieve their ideal renewed health through virtual one-on-one consultations, individual and group coaching, and other means over the years. Serena has worked in dietetics for almost 17 years. She has practised in several capacities. She has worked as a clinical paediatric dietitian at London Metropolitan University, where she was responsible for a variety of services such as the paediatric cardiac intensive care unit, as a Nutrition Consultant for the Division of Public Health in North Carolina, and as a Senior Clinical Research Dietitian on a large randomised research study on food allergies in London, United Kingdom. Serena earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences Dietetics, followed by a dietetic internship at London Metropolitan University, and a Master of Public Health in Nutrition from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Serena has earned the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Certificate of Training in Vegetarian Nutrition. She likes working with busy individuals and families who want to make proactive efforts to enhance their health and decrease the heavy toll of diet-related chronic illnesses.
