Matthew K. Sharp

Matthew is a best-selling author featured in the Forbes Executive Library. He is currently the Chief Information Security Officer at Logicworks, responsible for information security governance, risk management, strategy, architecture and compliance. Matthew is a business-savvy cloud executive bringing stakeholders together in a commitment to cybersecurity best practices that balance mission, risk, and regulation. He combines his business acumen and robust background in cybersecurity operations, sales, consulting, and management to harvest tangible business outcomes and promote enterprise cyber resilience. Prior to Logicworks, Matthew served as Head of Global Information Security at Crocs, Inc. Previously, he served as Director of Strategic Services Optiv (formerly FishNet Security), managed security consulting teams at Experis IT, and held various other security and consulting positions. Matthew currently advises several security organizations including YL Ventures, Coalfire, CyberGRX, NopSec, and F5. He formerly served as an Advisory Board Member of the Ithaca College Cybersecurity Program and Cavirin Systems. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer & Electrical Engineering from University of Colorado Boulder, Master of Business Administration in Business from Colorado State University, and over 14 technology and security related licenses and certifications.
