Jared Seltzer

Jared Abram Seltzer is a professor of Biblical Hebrew, Biblical Aramaic, and Jewish Context of the Bible with Israel Institute of Biblical Studies and also a research associate for Israel Bible Center. He has also been a contributor and editor with Netivyah. He earned his M.A. in Hebrew Bible and the History and Culture of the Ancient Near East at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and his B.S. in Bible and Linguistics from Liberty University. Besides Biblical Hebrew, his passions relate to Semitic comparative linguistics and to the intersection of Second Temple Israel with nascent Christianity.
