Laurie Williams

Laurie “Trumpet” Williams is a mixed media and alcohol ink artist, instructor, and influencer. Laurie has been creating her entire life and loves sharing the joy of art through teaching and community building. Laurie founded the Alcohol Ink Art Community™, the Alcohol Ink Art Society™, and Mixed Media Mad™ to bring together artists of all levels and mediums from around the world. Additionally, Laurie co-founded the CreateSmART Academy™, an online marketplace for alcohol ink and mixed media instruction. Collectively, these educational and inspirational resources inspire over 70,000+ creative souls. Outside her art career, Laurie is a professional graphic designer and digital marketing consultant, helping creative entrepreneurs succeed online. She’s the founder and CEO of Trumpet Marketing™ and runs an art marketing and consulting business called ArtBugle™, where she helps fellow artists build and promote their brands on the Internet. Laurie resides in Boyds, MD with her husband, Jim; lovely daughters, Christina and Michelle; and Maltipoo, Ruby. She enjoys music, art, theatre, and being outdoors.
