Eman Saleh resides in Michigan with her husband and four children. A former elementary and special education teacher, Eman uses her teaching experiences to help her craft her writing. She has a passion for education and owns and operates an early childhood education center. Eman holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, a Master's degree in Special Education, and a second Master's degree in Educational Policy & Leadership, all from the University of Michigan. Eman utilizes diverse characters to tell everyday stories. Eman believes it is important for all children to feel represented, something she was devoid of feeling growing up as an Arab American Muslim. Her first children's book “The Great Labne Trade” is inspired by the true story of her older brother’s business ventures in the school cafeteria. You can follow her writing journey on her Instagram account Emansalehbooks. When she is not writing, she can be found reading, running, catching one her favorite Broadway shows, or enjoying a classic Disney movie. She is a self proclaimed child at heart!
