Allyson Rousseau is a fibre artist based out of Pictou, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Her small-scale weavings explore the elements of colour and spatial balance through the use of second-hand yarns, and techniques that alter space and form.
She has exhibited her work in Canada, the US, and Europe, and has created hundreds of custom pieces for collectors all over the world.
Allyson currently teaches 5 online classes hosted on her website that cover basic frame loom weaving techniques and several projects. She also has a course available on Domestika.org called 3D Weaving and Yarn Trimming for Wall Hangings.
