I have been retired for 14 years. Since then, I have had hobby farms that keep me busy. I raise chicken, quails and rabbits, and also grow fruits and vegetables. I also have a You Tube channel, 'Mike Gutierrez the Retired Farmer' where I have uploaded 140 videos so far in the last four years. They range from building barns and cages to everyday farm chores. There are also travelling videos, and some of visits to our favorite hotels and restaurants. I have written ten fiction book and two non-fiction. Mystery, romance, futuristic, life lessons, different life outlooks and even space travel. and some of them contain more than one of these categories. The first one was ‘Lucky Dead’, then ‘Graham’s Folly’ one of my favorites. Then ‘The Island Dream’ which could be called my fantasy if I had unlimited resources. My latest favorite is 'I am Jordan', which is the second part of a trilogy. The first related book is called 'My Evenings with Jor-Dan'. There is also another trilogy: 'In Search of Light', which was followed by 'In Search of Wonder' and the next, ‘In Search of Direction’, the last one to come will be ‘In Search of Peace.’ Then there are the two non-fiction ‘My Mother’s Journey’ and ‘Seven Pathways to Increase your Wealth with Rental Real Estate’ The one I just finished is ‘Life’s Delta’, an action adventure romance reminiscent of ‘Game of Thrones’ just not as involved. Then there’s also ‘Seaside Whispers’ in the editing process now. That one is an unapologetic sunset romance.
