Chris Danger

Chris Choi, who formerly worked under the pseudonym Chris Danger, is a Korean-American author, illustrator, and graphic novelist. Chris works his dream job every day, providing art for publications around the world. He is set to make his author debut with a semi-autobiographical memoir in 2025, published with Scholastic. Chris, an army brat, grew up everywhere, including places like Hawaii, South Korea, Virginia, Germany, and Oregon. He studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where he graduated in 2010 with a degree in illustration. He animated for some tv shows for a few years, then taught as a professor for a bit, and now has been illustrating full time for over a decade. Chris’ illustration style incorporates bold lines and vibrant colors, reminiscent of the Saturday morning cartoons he grew up watching, and he specializes in adding a ton of humor into all of his projects. Chris currently lives in Philadelphia with his wife Eva, and their dog and two cats.
