Melissa Gheen

Melissa Shoup Gheen is an educator in Los Angeles, California, and has been in the field of education since 2005. She received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education and later went on to pursue her master’s degree in child and adolescent literacy. She has experience teaching kindergarten, first, and second grade in independent schools in the Los Angeles area. She has been practicing the Responsive Classroom approach since 2008. In her spare time, Melissa enjoys reading and relaxing at the beach with family and friends.
