Neila S Kannan

Neila Kannan lives in the Pacific Northwest. Among all the stories she has been writing over the years, she chose to publish "Nithila's Pongal" first as it's a story very close to her heart and also the shortest story she has written. She was inspired to write the story of "Nithila's Pongal" because of her own longing to be back in India for the Pongal festival and to finally see the sun! She wrote this book for her daughter and other children who grow up way across the world and do not get to celebrate this wonderful festival.
