Jaclyn Cohen is a contemporary fiction and romance author. She prefers her protagonists flawed, fiery, and starry eyed. Raised on Jane Austen, the Bronte sisters, and later developing a taste for Edith Wharton and Virginia Woolf, Cohen enjoys mixing the characteristics of classic literature into modern day storytelling.
Her hobbies include book shopping, touring old mansions, and drinking afternoon tea with a side of poetry. When she’s not writing or being a bookworm, she enjoys spending time in nature and traveling. She has also written a coming-of-age poetry and short-story collection, Don’t Go Over the Bridge, chronicling her experience of growing up in the southernmost borough of New York City. Jaclyn resides in both New Jersey and Vermont with her husband, daughter, and tabby cat.
Janie is her first romance short story. Her debut novel is currently in production.
