Jo Lindley is an illustrator and author with a passion for creating vibrant, magical worlds filled with charming characters and playful details. Originally trained as an architect, Jo discovered her love for illustration almost by accident and has since embraced it wholeheartedly. Her distinctive style blends bold textures, expressive characters and whimsical narratives, bringing a sense of joy and imagination to her books.
Jo wrote and illustrated the 'Best Friends with Big Feelings' series, published by Farshore, and 'Where Does My Poo Go?', published by DK. She illustrated the picture book 'Excitable Edgar' to accompany the John Lewis/Waitrose Christmas ad in 2019, written by Lucy Feather and published by Nosy Crow.
She illustrates a number of young fiction book series, including 'Interdimensional Explorers', written by Lorraine Gregory and published by Farshore, 'The Nile Adventures', written by Saviour Pirotta and published by Maverick books, and 'Pixie Magic', written by Daisy Meadows and published by Hachette.
