Dr. Tate Higgins is a leading expert in wilderness medicine, an emergency room physician, a Fellow of the Academy of Wilderness Medicine, and a professional educator. For twenty years, he has taught first aid, prehospital, disaster, and wilderness medicine across the globe. He is a backcountry river guide, lecturer, and international trip leader.
