L. O. Ruzo was born in Lima, Peru in 1949 and obtained bachelor and doctoral degrees in chemistry at Boston University (1970) and Michigan State University (1974). He has conducted research at universities in the US, Netherlands, Israel and England and has published extensively in the fields of agricultural and environmental chemistry. In 1987 he founded the Pharmacology and Toxicology Research Laboratories in California and Germany and directed their activities until 2014. Since then he has been active in archaeological studies of the Marcahuasi Plateau in the central Andes of Peru (marcahuasi-ruzo.com) with results recently published in the Journal of Anthropological and Archaeological Sciences. The present work is the result of eight years into the work of Nostradamus, and is an attempt to uncover the cryptographic keys used by the famous prophet. Unlike the vast majority of the published work on the subject he makes no attempt to interpret the quartets in the Centuries and Presages, but rather studies their organization into themes and topographical relationships.
