Karin Earle is a licensed therapist, author, and advocate for mental health awareness. Karin obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Evangel University and her master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Syracuse University, where she also completed a certificate of advanced studies in trauma-informed practice. Karin currently provides therapy services to individuals, couples, and families through a marriage and family therapy practice in upstate New York. Karin is known for her authentic, person-centered therapeutic approach.
Karin’s identity as a Christian is steeped in the belief that all human beings are worthy of respect, compassion, and acceptance. She believes faith is all about learning to ask the complex questions and create spaces to sit with the uncomfortable answers. By combining good mental health and faith practices, Karin helps couples learn the complexity, creativity, and the importance of healthy and open communication in emotionally intelligent relationships.
Karin has been married for six years to her childhood best friend, Josh, to whom she attributes her real-world relationship knowledge and experience. Together they have made a home with a small clowder of cats (Rosie, Otto, and Ellie) along with one excitable and stubborn English bulldog named Winston. Karin is a self-described nerd and lifelong learner. When not wearing her “therapist hat,” Karin enjoys puzzles, board-game nights, learning obscure trivia, video games with immersive world-building, and movies of every genre.
