I am a Professor of Educational Leadership at San Diego State University (www.sdsu.edu) and regularly serve as a thought partner to leaders who wish to maximize their organization’s investments in learning programs and initiatives. I’ve conducted more than 250 individual studies of program and funded project investments totaling over $120 million dollars, while seeing first-hand how these experiences influence the paths we travel and the people we become. I write to better understand and share best practice from the diverse programs and initiatives I’ve come to know. Given the power of programs to change lives, I believe that careful planning and attention to needs leads to predictable, life-changing results.
